After a childhood spent in suburban Arizona, Nancy still grapples with the concept of “seasons.” In this season of her life, she lives near the Chesapeake Bay on Maryland’s Western Shore with her husband and two sons. Hobbies include running, buying yet more milk, and removing sticks and worms from her kitchen table.
Nancy has taught middle and high school English, as well as college composition. She is proud to work as an assistant editor for the writing community Write on Edge. You can also find her on Twitter: @occasionalninja

Ha! I am also a hater of adverbs. They do tend to slip in now and then, but I do my best to beat them back.
Thanks very much for your comments on my blog. It’s nice to know my stuff isn’t just floating around in the ether, unread.
I can say “I knew her when.” You totally rock, friend!
